Project: Four-story building, approximately 2,500 mq each floor. The
project includes space for the Italian Embassy diplomatic representatives, the
military attache, the consular representatives, the Cultural Institute, and the
public areas, including a multilevel entrance hall for events and displays, a
video and audio tape library, and the library.

the competition on invitation, in which the other participating architects were:
Renzo Piano, Aldo Rossi, Vittorio Gregotti, Gae Aulenti, Carlo Aymonino, Antonio
de Feo, and Vico Magistretti. 1995, executive design stage. 1999, beginning of
work. 1999, completion.
